Meet Perry! The huge Liverpool FC fan has been in support work for coming up to three years. After spending seven years as a butcher, he made a career change in search of something more meaningful. Since then, he has loved every minute of it!
He is dependable and always there when you need him. Perry puts others before himself without a second thought. He is patient, reliable, and builds strong, genuine connections with the people he supports, always going the extra mile.
Not only is Perry great at his job, he also brings plenty of laughter to those around him. His laughter is infectious and helps create a warm, positive environment wherever he goes. With a natural ability to make people feel heard and appreciated, Perry is truly a born support worker.

What has support work taught you about yourself?
It’s taught me a lot about patience and how much I enjoy helping others. I’ve realized I thrive in situations where I can make a difference, and I’ve learned how important it is to bring humour and positivity into everything I do!
When you think of work, how do you feel?
Honestly I feel pretty excited and motivated. I never even look at the clock, which is a great sign of how much I enjoy what I’m doing! The team and awesome clients definitely make it feel less like work and more like kicking goals and having a laugh along the way
How did you celebrate Liverpool winning the Premier League this season?
Jumping around my living room at 4am. A good thing everyone was asleep, as there were definitely a few embarrassing dance moves.
