Jordy C

Meet Jordy! With nearly 4 years of experience in disability support, Jordy has had the privilege of working alongside individuals in communities all across Australia. After spending the past couple of years travelling the country on and off, she’s been lucky enough to combine her love of people with her love of adventure.

A free spirit with a big heart, Jordy’s journey has been filled with meaningful connections, fresh perspectives, and a growing passion for the work she does. She's happiest outdoors, whether it’s swimming, surfing, hiking or road tripping to her next great adventure.

Jordy is also a creative soul who thrives on arts and crafts, music, dancing her heart out, and exploring all things spiritual. One of her favourite parts of support work is getting to meet amazing people from all walks of life and learning about what lights them up.

Every person, every place, every story - it’s all part of the adventure for Jordy.

Can you describe a moment in support work that really stuck with you?
One moment that always stays with me is supporting a quiet, reserved young person who slowly came out of their shell with some gentle encouragement. Seeing them grow into a confident, chatty little legend was so heartwarming. Moments like that remind me why I love this work. It’s all about connection and celebrating those beautiful wins.

What’s your support worker superpower?
Empathy with a splash of sunshine! I love making people feel truly seen and valued. I bring warmth, positivity, and a fun energy wherever I go. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone I support light up with confidence and joy.

What’s your go-to comfort meal and why?
Sushi, hands down! I’m a total foodie, but Japanese food is my go-to when I want something that feels like a treat and still leaves me feeling great. Obsessed!
