What makes you a cracking support worker?
I bring a very positive, motivating and supportive presence towards my clients which I believe has been such a strong reason into why my clients over these last 5 years have progressed in so many facets of life. I always like to communicate with families of my clients to show the experiences we are having and to also show to progress they make along the way. I believe that families really appreciate this.
What made you become a support worker?
I have grown up being around a family member with a disability where they have lived in a group home with 4 others. This is where my drive to become a support worker stemmed from. I believe the experiences from me being around people with disabilities my entire life has made me want to increase the amount of opportunities for people with disabilities.
How is the culture at Wondrous Support?
The culture at Wondrous Support is amazing. Us as Support Workers all have a great relationship where we are always communicating whether it’s someone asking for advice or just sharing ideas.
